What a delight this must be to happen upon while strolling! Artists Benoit Deseille and Benedetto Bufalino's installation Urban Escape transforms a phone booth into a street aquarium as part of the Lyon Light Festival in France. A statement from the artists: “With the advent of the mobile telephone, telephone booths lie unused. We rediscover this glass cage transformed into an aquarium, full of exotically coloured fish; an invitation to escape and travel.” Fantastic re-imagining of materials and presentation of urban street art.
To mark the launch of TheNewIceAge.com, a giant ICE WALL was erected outside the Royal Festival Hall at London's Southbank Centre, which encompassed an array of fruit, vegetables and seafood magnificently suspended in ice. This artistic display designed by IceBox, showcased the freshness and high quality of frozen foods. So simple , so beautiful and just a wonderful winter installation.

High on a mountain top in Piedmont, Italy there's an enormous fluffy pink bunny. It’s been created and installed by Viennese art group Gelitin. The bunny (which took almost five years to knit) will be there for as long as it takes to be claimed by the elements around it. That's estimated at 2025. See & read more at the Gelitin website. So wonderful and so strange.
